LOBBYVIEW
VISUAL IDENTITY
LobbyView is an online service that collects and organizes national lobbying data from political scientist researchers, making that data accessible to the public in an intuitive and useable format.
This is an ongoing academic project of Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor, In Song Kim, and is supported by MIT, the Russell Sage Foundation, and the National Science Foundation.

RESEARCH + EXPLORATION
Initial moodboards: Inspired by a wide array of simple shapes that nod to a deeper meaning. Logo by Jordan Kane (top left), and graphics by Deividas Bielskis (bottom left) and thirteen 24 (bottom right).
Sketches and ideation: My initial sketches exploring the magnifying glass (top), the old logo with the capital “Q” and overly intricate Capitol building (bottom left), and unused explorations of a LobbyView wordmark (bottom middle and right).
IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT + BRAND APPLICATION
Brand Application: Corporate stationery (top), conceptual marketing advertisement (middle left), and business cards (middle right).
UI Design: Home landing page and illustrations (top left and right), filtered lobbying report (bottom left), and API page (bottom right).
